SolarΣShield

SolarΣShield

SolarΣShield®: Proven Multispectral Protection Fabric

SolarΣShield® is a patented, multi-laminated 3D spacer fabric developed in collaboration with Defence Research and Development Canada and Rheinmetall Canada. This innovative material has been rigorously tested and is currently deployed by the Canadian Armed Forces.

Designed to mitigate solar heat load, SolarΣShield® enhances multispectral signature management across infrared, visual, near-infrared, radar, and ultraviolet spectrums. Its layered construction facilitates natural air convection and provides artificial shading, effectively reducing temperature rise inside vehicles, shelters, and other military systems.

Particularly effective in temperate and hot climates, SolarΣShield® ensures consistent thermal stability, enhancing operational efficiency and crew comfort in the field.
